Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs Future X Days
Innovation is a key element of the future, present and past of Alcatel-Lucent. We demonstrate innovation in not only our technology, research and products but also in the new ways we go to market with new partners and into new segments. Increasingly innovation is not just the ability to invent but the ability to execute. As a large, global networking company we are able to innovate in a more industrial way and at the center of this is Bell Labs innovation.
Future X Days (formerly Open Days) are once-a-year opportunity to gain an insider view of living innovation. This is a unique open door opportunity to see our innovation engine hard at work, see first-hand the model, how it is working, see demos and labs and talk to the Bell Labs researchers who are making it happen. Bell Labs Future X projects bring together a number of 10x initiatives to solve problems with unknowable answers that have the potential to fundamentally change the way we communicate, collaborate and connect.

Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs Future X Days: Belgium 2014
The 2014 theme is Inventing the Network of You. Networks will no longer be the center of the world but you will be. As we move into a cloud world the network will become more malleable and eventually invisible. The complex challenges of connecting the dots in a cloud world require cross-disciplinary solutions. So we need partners who want to solve together with us these difficult industrial problems.
The Bell Labs Future X Days in Belgium take place on October 16, 2014 (agenda, demonstrations) in the Lindner hotel in Antwerp (Lange Kievitstraat 125), next to the Alcatel-Lucent premises and just across the Antwerp Central Station (exit Kievitplein). The recommended transport means are train or tram (alternative means).
The keynote speeches take place in the Lindner hotel. The Bell Labs exhibition area is located at the Alcatel-Lucent premises, next to the hotel, and will be opened after the networking lunch. Visitors can also book a room in the Lindner hotel, using the Alcatel-Lucent discount code.
